TCS posts strong results

Sales of Indian IT suppliers Tata Consultancy services grew by 2 billion $ in the three months to 30 September, an increase of 30% compared to last year and up 12% over the previous quarter. TCS CEO N. Chandrasekaran said results were particularly pleasing given the uncertain economic climate. "We have reached over all industry units due to growth, we are very positive about the global demand recovery going forward while watchful in view of the macro environment," he said.


All major markets grew into double-digit terms with Europe ahead, while TCS's North American revenue 1 billion $, exceeded the report. Indian IT companies are continued strong growth - earlier this week, Indian rival HCL sales of $804 million (£ 511 m), written by 27.6% year-on-year and 9% over the previous quarter fort.Gewinne increased $254.4 m compared to the same period of last year.

18% Increase in sales for Fiscal Q3 make Citrix

Citrix has a sales growth of 472 million $ (£ 301 million) Q3 for fiscal 2010, a 18% increase compared to sales of $401 m (£ 255 m) over the same period last year reported. Profits were up from $53 m (£ 34 m) in 2009 to $88 m (£ 56 m) for the period from 30 September. "I'm proud on our Q3 performance and the excellent strategic, operational and financial results we have delivered this year", said Mark Templeton, CEO of Citrix.


"It's clear we are at the crossroads of three powerful market forces - the transformation of IT to an on-demand service; the Consumerisation of IT in the enterprise, and the promise of cloud Diensten.Diese trends a need for virtual computing, Citrix and our platform relevant and strategic,", he said. Citrix reported sales increase in product license sales of 18%, while sales license updates to 15% and online services's rose by 16% compared to fiscal 2009 third quarter.
