CA technologies sales by 4% in Q2

CA technologies has sales of $1 billion (£ 700 m) reported for the second quarter of 2011, an increase of 4%. The company announced profits of $222 m (£ 141 m) for the period from 30 September to 2% from $218 m (£ 139 m) from the same quarter of last year, while 4% to $1.1 billion (£ 700 m) revenues of $1. 07bn (£ 680 m) in 2009. "We solid financial performance delivered by growing revenue, earnings per share and cash flow," said Bill McCracken, Chief Executive at CA.


"We continue our corporate strategy by building our virtualization management to take security management and cloud offers, through a series of major acquisitions and the announcement of new industry-leading solutions more steps to support" he said. CA Technologies announced the acquisition of fraud prevention company, Arcot Systems, its cloud security services expand.
